When DJ Anyaloko....the journalist interviewing 2Face Idibia asked him why he chose to marry Annie Idibia out of all the women in his life?

He relaxed back on his sit, took a deep breathe in reflection and gently answered her with this:

“You see, Pero Adeniyi who gave birth to my first son graduated from a top UK University as a medical student and is now a doctor. She is very beautiful and intelligent from a very wealthy family”. 

He continued “Sandra who gave birth to my other two kids is a dealer in expensive diamond and gold jewelries. She was already a multi-millionaire when I met her, she owns one of the most expensive houses in Banana Island. Her family too are very well to do”. 

He took another deep breathe and continued “Falilat who gave birth to 2 kids for me is also a very intelligent first class Lawyer. She has worked on and won many big cases for so many wealthy men and women in this country and abroad, that’s how she made her money and she Too is very beautiful as well”.

Then with a loving gentle smile on his Face he took another deep breathe and said this “But you see Annie is from an average background like myself, we both started from nothing. She stuck by me through it all. When there was no car she hopped on bikes, took the bus and trekked with me, when there was no money or house or hit songs or or millions of albums sold or big awards and accolades, when I used to repeat just 3 sets of clothes, she would always hold my head, look into my eyes and tell me things will be fine one day. When I wasn’t handsome, she would call me her Prince Charming, when I wasn’t celebrated, she called me her KING and said she is my number one fan and to this day she still is. 

Even when I made it big as a musician and started misbehaving and controversies almost destroyed my career, she would go down on her knees and pray to God to show me the way and give me victory over my enemies. Now if I was still that poor boy struggling to make it like every other young chap on the streets of Lagos, do you think a Doctor, a Lawyer and a multi-millionaire business woman will want to look at me twice or even have my kids? NO. 

So to answer your question, I didn’t chose who had more to offer me, I chose Annie because she offered me her all when we had very little”

God is good.

I was coming home on Friday evening after a hectic day at work and found a small bag on the ground. I opened it and behold what did I see inside? $50,000!!! Yes. Dollars.

Fear first catch me. I looked around. Nobody was watching. I took the bag home, made sure I was alone in my room and emptied the bag on my bed. I also found some documents, ID card, ATM card and an IPhone together with the 50k. 

God is good. Chaii.. Jesus is really Lord. Me that was complaining of how I will pay rent in this Corona time is now $50,000 richer and a proud owner of an iPhone.

Having never used an iPhone before, I was trying to open the phone and change the Sim card with my own when the phone rang. I hesitated, then picked and spoke to the caller. 

It was the owner of the bag. I am very sure of that because he named exactly all the contents of the bag one by one. He was crying. I told him that I will call him back and cut the phone.

What do I do? I may never see this kind of money in my life if I miss this opportunity. All kinds of thoughts came to me. My mind was asking me questions like "Are u going to be a poor man forever?"

Long story short, my soft mind took over me and I called the man back. We met and I handed him the bag with all his belongings inside. He was shocked and very happy. He offered me $5000 but something came upon me and I told him to keep it that "I can't take money I didn't work for" 

He took my phone number and left. I got home and was so moody that my wife asked what was wrong with me but I told her I am okay. 

Just yesterday, the man  called me and after exchanging pleasantries, offered me a job at SHELL worth #1,450,000 per month, a 4 bedroom bungalow fully furnished and with a gift of 2014 Range Rover Sport jeep. 

I ran mad with joy. I was singing praises to God when my wife slapped me on the back: "Nwokem, wake up EBA DON READY. God is good as we still see garri chop for this Lockdown"

A graduate has been seeking for job

A graduate has been seeking for job, for almost fifteen good years. No means to get money. Then one day she had only but one dollar with her, she entered in a restaurant and bought food with that money but just after she finished praying for the food three people came in looking so skinny and hungry. They asked her for the food, she had compassion on them and gave them the food.

They wanted to pray for her but she told them that they need the prayer more than her. She left them and when she was about to leave they gave her an old coin. She went and lay down under the bridge to sleep, she saw newspaper and picked it and when she was reading it, there was an adverts about an old coin that got lost in 1955. Anybody that brings it was to be payed 10 million dollars.

As soon as she saw it she checked the coin and it was the same. Then she rushed down to the address and they confirmed it and issued her with a cheque of 10 million dollars. She rushed back to that restaurant to see those three men but she didn't find them.

When she asked the waiters, they gave her a letter that the old men left behind and she opened it, and this is what was written:

"This is the God of the Father, the God of Son and the God of the Holy spirit. No man who praises God shall be left to suffer. Him, his son and grandson's shall live happy under the umbrella of God."

MORAL LESSON: Blessed is the hand that gives than the hand that receive... Praise God and your life will change...
