Of all the wonders life on Earth has to offer, none is greater to me than love,
Love infuses life with meaning.
It performs magic and miracles. It brings light where there was darkness and hope where there was despair. It is your greatest teacher, and your most constant blessing. Love is a force more formidable than any other.
 It is invisible – it cannot be seen, nor measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy then any material possession could.  Once you have love, no one can take it away from you. Only you can relinquish it, if you wish.
Love is the magician of the universe. It creates everything out of noting.
 One moment, it isn’t there, and the next –POOF- it appears in its entire splendor and you greet it with amazement.
And what delights it produces out of thin air-smiles, laughter, goose, bumps, hot flashes, tender words, silly name, happy tears, and, most of all, life.
Love produced you. Without it, you wouldn’t be here at all.
Love’s greatest gift is its. Ability to make everything it touches sacred
Love sanctifies life. Where love is, you are given a glimpse of the sacrament.
You rise above your humanness and see the world through heavenly eyes.
Your child, you’re beloved, your dog or cat, your garden, or whatever it is that you love appears adorable, precious, supremely beautiful, and somehow perfect in spite of its imperfections.
And love also consecrates time and place and possession, bestowing special stature upon them: The day you first met your husband; the anniversary of your wedding; the special bench in the park where you go to talk; the rocking chair in which you nursed your child: the old afghan your grandmother made you; your little girl’s first note that said
“I love you, Mommy”; those become sacred artifacts commemorating the presence of love in your life. But most of all, I believe that love offers you an opportunity for deep, spiritual awakening, for when you love, the usual boundaries which separate you from something else dissolves instantly you transcend the illusion of separation which defines human existence, and you experience oneness. Suddenly, you are no longer alone in the universe.
There is a flow between your being and the being of whomever you love.
All that is you is pouring out into them, and all that is their is pouring out into you. Your souls are dancing together.
Perhaps you have had moment like this, but not known exactly why they moved you so much…
You and your husband stand above the crib of your newborn child, watching her sleep. Her tiny body rises and falls with the rhythm of her peaceful breathing, and you turn to your husband and his eyes meet yours.
All at once, you feel a force of love circling from you to him to your daughter and back to you again, and as you flow in the fullness of the energy, you are aware of a timeless bound that connect you together.
Noting else exists. You feel totally complete.
 It’s late at night and you’re sitting outside on your back porch listening to the crickets and watching the stars.
Your faithful dog who’s been your best friend for ten years pads up alongside of you, and nuzzles his head under your arm.
As you hold his warm body close to yours, you suddenly feel a surge of love for him, and the unconditional devotion he has always shown you.
He raises his head and, for a long moment, looks at you as if to say,” Yes, I feel it too.
 “The night swallows both of you up into an eternal peace, and it seems you are the only two beings in the world.
This moment is all yours. This is the power of love –it takes you on a journey from separation to Oneness.
It penetrates the normal boundaries in which you live, the boundaries that make you fee like “you,” distinct and unrelated to anyone or anything else.
You know that you are not your husband or wife or dog or friend or the sky.
And yet, in those very real moments of love, “you” turns into “us,” something infinitely more fulfilling than you alone.
In this way, love creates an unlimited experience with no boundaries, no edges. It allows you to travel out of yourself.
